Extentions Arts Group

Extentions Arts Group presents a new sculptural exhibition which demands public participation. It has been commissioned by the Bath Festival and will receive its first public showing between Saturday May 27 and Saturday June 3 in the Royal Victoria Park in BathExtentions Arts Group is concerned with imposing new areas of fantasy on our environment and to a certain extent with stimulating new forms of adult and child recreation. This year at Bath they will be providing a series of events using giant plastic tubes and spheres, eggs, that may appear and disappear around different sites in the city. The main exhibit in the festival will be a large walk-through inflated environment, made up of multi-coloured passages and cubes. Although situated in one place throughout the week its structure may change from day to day or hour to hour. It will be open to the public at all times. Visitors are expected to walk inside the structure, admission free.
